Governor of Syrdarya Region Discusses Agribusiness and Solar Energy Projects in Japan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Syrdarya region, led by Governor Erkinjon Turdimov, is on a working visit to Tokyo, holding a series of meetings with executives from leading Japanese companies and corporations.

In the morning, the regional governor met with representatives from Momiki Co. Ltd., Farmdo Group, and Altai Trading.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for advanced processing of agricultural products in Syrdarya region, implementation of solar energy projects, and opportunities to export legumes and other agricultural products to the Japanese market.

As a result of the meetings, specific directions were identified for developing mutually beneficial cooperation, launching joint projects, and expanding the region’s export potential.

It was noted that the agreements reached will strengthen bilateral economic ties and enhance practical collaboration between Syrdarya region and Japanese partners.
