Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Ferghana Region, Khairullo Bozorov, held a meeting with Gideon Lustig, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Israel to Uzbekistan, who is currently visiting the region.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation across various fields, including education, healthcare, tourism, agriculture, industrial production, water-saving technologies, beekeeping, and export.

They reviewed existing opportunities and ways to further develop mutually beneficial bilateral relations.

The Israeli Ambassador expressed high appreciation for the scale of reforms and construction projects being implemented in the Ferghana region, particularly highlighting the impressive achievements of the “New Uzbekistan” Eco-City in Ferghana city, the industrial zone, and other innovative initiatives.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on expanding interregional cooperation. As a result of the discussions, specific steps were outlined to implement new joint projects in the near future.
