Governor Erkinjon Turdimov Discusses Cooperation with Japanese Partners in the Agri-Sector and Pharmaceuticals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Syrdarya region, led by Governor Erkinjon Turdimov, is currently on a working visit to Tokyo, where it is holding a series of productive meetings with executives of leading Japanese companies and corporations.

The talks are aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties and establishing a solid foundation for the implementation of new joint initiatives.

The latest meetings were organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan and involved representatives of Phytopharma, New Silk Way Inc, Aomori Nousan, Sozo Kobo Co., Ltd., Washin Trading, and Onodera User Run.

During the discussions, the parties examined in detail promising areas of cooperation in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, trade and logistics services, and the service sector.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of mutually beneficial projects, as well as to the exchange of technologies and best practices.

As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on the systematic continuation of cooperation, the development of concrete project proposals, and a transition to the practical implementation of the planned initiatives, opening up new opportunities for strengthening the economic and investment potential of the Syrdarya region.
