Government agencies to be prohibited from demanding copies of passports and work books from citizens, as well as photos and cadastre

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting from 1 April 2021, it is planned to cancel the procedure for requiring state and economic management bodies, state institutions and local authorities from individuals of the following documents:

copy of an identity document;

personal photo of the established format;

certificates of the medical and social expert commission;

cadastral documents and their copies;

work books and their copies;

certificates of wages and work experience, archival certificates confirming studies in a higher and secondary specialized educational institution.

In addition, all these authorities will be prohibited from requiring documents confirming the following facts:

about the state or absence of mental illness registered with the dispensary;

on the status or absence of registered drug addiction clinic;

about a criminal record;

address and reference information;

on the presence or absence of private housing on behalf of the citizen;

about the area of the place of residence; 

the presence or absence of tax arrears;

on the status of individual taxpayers registered with the tax service;

on the amount of pensions and benefits;

on the presence or absence in the list of recipients of pensions and benefits;

on the conclusion of marriage, on the absence of marriage or divorce.
