Goods for 8.8 trln. soums realized via UZEX

Total sum of realized goods via the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) made up 8.8 trillion soums in 2015, the press service of the exchange said.
The volume of exchange trades exceeded 6.9 trillion soums, exhibition-fair trades – 1.1 trillion soums, public procurement – 497.1 billion soums and corporate procurement – 344.3 billion soums, as well as e-catalogue platform – 46.7 billion soums.
The exchange said that e-catalogue helped to save 12 billion soums of budget resources in 2015, while public procurement platform allowed to save 139.8 billion soums of budget resources.
It added that about 68.4 billion soums of business entities were saved at the corporate procurement platform.
