Goods for 6.5 trln. soums realized via UZEX

Goods for 6.5 trillion soums were realized via all trade platforms of Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) in nine months of 2015, the press service of the exchange said.
The volume of exchange trades made up 5.1 trillion soums, exchange-fair trades – 746.5 billion soums, public procurement – 347.7 billion soums and corporate procurement – 260.8 billion soums, electronic catalogue – 31.2 billion soums.
Share of business entities in all trade platforms rose from 66.5% to 73.8% in the reporting period.
The exchange said that on public procurement platform D-xarid deals for 347.7 billion soums, which rose by 2.5% year-on-year. The budget resources for 101.4 billion soums were saved in the result, which is 23.5% more year-on-year. About 99% of number and volume of signed deals fell to share of small businesses.
Electronic catalogue (catalog.uzex.uz) on public procurement recorded deals for 31.2 billion soums, which allowed to save 7.8 billion soums of budge resources. The share of small businesses in number and volume of deals was 100%.
In the reporting period, deals for 260.8 billion soums were recorded in corporate procurement, which allowed to save up to 54.4 billion soums. The small businesses also accounted over 97% share in the number and volume of signed deals.
