GM Uzbekistan temporarily suspended signing of new contracts

The company said that the decision was made in connection with the inventory of vehicle balances.

GM Uzbekistan emphasizes that after completion of the inventory, the company will continue to issue cars under paid contracts and prices specified in the concluded contracts.

From 1 June 2017, GM Uzbekistan will begin to sell its automobiles in the domestic market for the national currency. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a corresponding decree on 26 May 2017.

Uzbek leader approved the proposal of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance and Uzavtosanoat on realization of GM Uzbekistan cars in the domestic market for national currency - soums.
