The company said that the first buyers received updated Lacetti at the dealer center Driver’s Village in Tashkent city on 22 November 2013. According to UzAvtoSanoat, new model have principle differences compared to previous version.
The company said that the design of updated Lacetti is concise and attractive at the same time. Swift lines of the car’s body give it dynamic and modern look. Rapid body lines give the car a dynamic and modern look. Drop-shaped headlights, new stylish grille and front bumper with expressive bottom edge, emphasizing anti-fog lights are powering harmonious appearance of the car, UzAvtoSanoat said.
Decent interior equipment and ergonomics of the space allowed to make the car more comfortable for both driver and passengers.
For convenience of the driver, the car has additional lumbar adjusting system. The drivers can also adjust steering column on height and reach. The car has automatic luggage compartment opening system and flap for opening of fuel tank.
Updated Chevrolet Lacetti has external electric and heated mirrors and remote control of audio system at steering wheel.
The developers of updated Lacetti also installed armrest with cup holders for rear passengers. Car favorably emphasizes details such as automatic electric sunroof and wood decoration
The model is equipped with four cylinder engine with the volume of 1.5 liters, which was produced by General Motors Powertrain Uzbekistan. The engine power is 105 horse powers.
The consumers can select mechanic 5-step or automatic six-step transmission. The car meets the environmental standards of Euro 5.
The driver and front passenger are protected with front airbags. The seats have three-point seatbelts with pre-tensioners, which provide additional protection in a precarious situation.
The car is equipped with Isofix mountings for child seats and rear door locking system, which will ensure safety of children.
It is worth to mention that GM Uzbekistan will sell this model under Gentra trademark abroad.
GM Uzbekistan launched assembly of Chevrolet Lacetti in 2013. The enterprise began serial production of the model in 2008.
