Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The representative office of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Uzbekistan under the leadership of Project Manager Caroline Milow, has allocated 30.4 million soums to support the My Garden in the Aral Sea project.
This agricultural and ecotourism project aimed at eliminating the consequences of the drying of the Aral Sea and increasing the number of tourists was launched with the financing of the Fund for Supporting Innovative Development and Innovative Ideas under the Ministry of Innovative Development, and the implementation of the My Garden project was launched by the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Aral Sea ”(My Garden in the Aral Sea).
To support the project, international and local investors are involved, and within its framework more than 900 decorative and fruit trees have already been planted in the Aral Sea.
Thanks to the financial support of GIZ, over 3,000 seedlings of desert plants will be planted in the Aral Sea region.
The organizers invite everyone to participate in the project. They emphasize that each donation will contribute to improving the ecological condition and prosperity of the region, and will positively affect the health of millions of people living in the Aral Sea region.
