Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 November 2021, a resident of Yangikurgan district, born in 1954, contacted the internal affairs bodies and stated that in the period from August to November 2021, an unknown person stole US$65,000 from a chest in a bedroom. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Namangan region.

Based on the results of operational-search activities carried out by the criminal investigation officers and preventive maintenance inspectors of the regional department of internal affairs, a resident of Yangikurgan district, a 7th grade secondary school student, born in 2008, who is a victim’s grandson, was charged with committing this crime.

On the above fact, the investigation department at the Yangikurgan District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case on 13 November 2021 in accordance with Part 4 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
