German envoy hands over grants, stipends to students of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan Neithart Hoefer-Wissing will hand over stipends and grants to undergo language training courses, education and research in Germany on 5 May 2015.
The Embassy of Germany said that 83 students, teachers and scholars from Uzbekistan will receive stipends to undergo academic exchange in German universities and research institutes.
The stipends are directed to support young scholars, who want to obtain PhD degree at German institutions and support research projects.
The Embassy noted that large number of Uzbek students will receive stipends to undergo German language courses in summer time.
