George Kasoulides appointed as Cyprus envoy to Uzbekistan

On 12 August 2016, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received new Ambassador, the press service of foreign political body of Uzbekistan said.

Abdulaziz Kamilov received credentials of new Ambassador of Cyprus, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.

The sides noted that bilateral cooperation, including with the European Union, United Nations and other international structures.

The sides noted mutual interest in further development of relations in various fields, intensify international contacts, exchanges between business circles of Uzbekistan and Cyprus.
