GE Vice President says relations between Uzbekistan to develop

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Signed memorandum on understanding between Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan and General Electric (USA) marks a new milestone in the history of the development of mutual relations. This was stated by Vice-President of GE Ronald James Pollett in his message to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Ronald James Pollett expressed gratitude to the Uzbek President for warm welcome in Tashkent on 1 March 2017 and a productive meeting.

He underlined that during the meeting the sides discussed current issues and outlined perspective directions on further developing cooperation between the Government of Uzbekistan and GE in energy, oil and gas, transport, healthcare and aviation.

Vice-President of GE expressed assurance that signed the memorandum of understanding between Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan and General Electric marks a new milestone in the history of the development of mutual relations.

Pollett stated that the working group, created in line with the memorandum, will give a regular work rhythm to further joint work and will help to realize orders of the Uzbek President in speeding up modernization of economy and attracting new technologies and investments into Uzbekistan.

GE top manager said that he is sure in perspectives of further development between Uzbekistan and GE. Having unique experience and technologies in above mentioned areas, GE is ready to strengthen partnership not only as supply of high technological equipment and interested in studying localization opportunities.

In the message, Ronald James Pollett said he will do his best to effective cooperation within the created working group and supporting high level of products and services, which will be supplied by GE to industrial enterprises and population of Uzbekistan.
