Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 9 January 2020 “On measures to implement the Investment Program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2022”, Uzbekneftegaz is implementing an investment the project “Construction of a propane-butane mixture production unit at the Uchkyr Gazli oil and gas production department desulfurization unit” worth US$49.4 million.

The project is aimed at the construction of a propane-butane mixture production unit (UPPBS) with a capacity of 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year with the production of liquefied gas 80,000 tonnes per year, gas condensate 37,500 tonnes and ensuring the growing demand of domestic consumers in the data types of fuel.

The project provides for the construction of a zeolite gas dehydration unit (UTSOG), tanks for receiving, storing and shipping liquefied gases to consumers, UPPBS, an operating room and a laboratory building.

Within the framework of the project, 18 import and 55 local contracts for the purchase of equipment were concluded for a total of US$13.9 million and 128.34 billion soums, for which financing was opened for all import and local contracts.

Imported equipment is manufactured at the plants of PJSC "Sumy NPO" (Ukraine), PJSC "Turbogaz" (Ukraine), "Linde AG" (Germany), JSC "Hydromashservice" (RF), LLC "AZSTRASTSTROY" (RF), PK "Promresurs" (Russia) and others.

At present, the contractor Mubarekneftegazmontazh has completed the total volume of work by 80.1%.

Completion of construction and installation work is scheduled for November this year.
