Ganiev and Meredov discuss upcoming visit of Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan

The delegation of Uzbekistan arrived in Ashgabat to prepare a state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan.

The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.

The sides considered issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Within the meeting, the parties also discussed regional issues and the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues related to the preparations for the forthcoming state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev to Turkmenistan.

In particular, it was considered a package of bilateral documents to be signed during the visit.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation and noted the need for further intensification of mutually beneficial partnership based on the principles of mutual respect and trust.
