Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Operative officers of the criminal investigation department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Syrdarya region received information that risk-based gambling was organized at a gas station located on the territory of the Mirzo Ulugbek mahalla of th Mirzaabad district, during card games visitors use drugs.

On the basis of operational information, on 6 May at 21:45, officers of the law enforcement bodies carried out an operational search activity in the Mirzo Ulugbek mahalla of Mirzaabad district.

During the event, with the participation of attesting witnesses, an inspection of the administrative building of a gas station on the side of the road of the M-34 highway was carried out, it was revealed that at the moment Abror (names have been changed) and on his initiative the six people who had gathered - Gani, Shahboz, Eler, Furkat, Umid and Otabek were playing into cards.

The law enforcement bodies seized bet money of 7,000,000 soums and 1,050 US dollars, as well as a 3-liter glass jar, 1,005,000 soums allocated for the game, used playing cards, issued as material evidence.

Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out on this fact.
