Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 December 2022, in Ashgabat, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gairat Fozilov held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziyev.
An exchange of views took place on the further development of Uzbek-Kyrgyz cooperation, the implementation of joint projects in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest.
It was noted that relations between the two countries are developing dynamically in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership.
It was emphasized that thanks to regular personal contacts, the firm political will of the leaders of the two states and the open trusting dialogue established between them, Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations today have reached an unprecedented high level.
During the talks, the importance of further expanding and deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was confirmed on the basis of common historical heritage, culture, linguistic, spiritual traditions and values.
