Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Ashgabat, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gairat Fozilov met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Khusainzoda.

During the talks, topical issues of multifaceted cooperation, further strengthening of trade, economic and investment relations were discussed.

It was noted that thanks to the joint efforts of the leaders of the two countries, unprecedented progress has been made in the development of bilateral cooperation in recent years.

The parties exchanged views on building up trade and economic cooperation, further increasing trade turnover, supporting direct contacts between the regions of the two countries, implementing cooperation projects in energy, industry, agriculture and other sectors.
