FURSAT - development of youth entrepreneurship and increasing its employment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade held a press conference with representatives of domestic media, media workers and bloggers.

During the event, the meeting participants discussed the format of further multilateral cooperation and noted the importance of further increasing the openness of the department to the public and the media. The leadership of the department noted the important role of the media as a link between the state, business and the population, and also voiced their readiness for mutually beneficial and effective interaction with the media in order to establish a direct dialogue with domestic entrepreneurs and exporters and increase the efficiency of the support provided to them.

Also within the framework of the event, the state media project FURSAT was presented. The presentation was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade A. Voitov, Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs A. Sadullaev, as well as project coordinators from the MIVT. During his speech, A. Voitov noted that the main goal of the project is to support young boys and girls in the implementation of their own business ideas.

The main goal is to create youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones (IPPZ), to attract young people to launch their own business projects. MPPZ are designed to become a platform for the development of youth entrepreneurship - on their territory there is the necessary infrastructure and conditions have been created for launching projects.

The project is intended for people from 18 to 30 years old who have an idea for their own business, but lack the experience and start-up capital to start it. In addition, the new project "FURSAT" will provide practical assistance to young entrepreneurs in conducting marketing research, searching for sales markets, preparing business plans, the necessary documents for obtaining licenses and permits, loans.

The initiative is also designed to improve the efficiency of using the economic potential of the regions and stimulate the introduction of innovations in various industries.

According to the Presidential Decree, 219 IPPZs will be created throughout the country, 185 of which are already functioning, where the implementation of the first projects has already begun. All MPPPs will be provided with the necessary infrastructure, and all conditions have been created for young entrepreneurs to implement their own projects and create industries based on innovative ideas.

It was also noted that a Fund for Support of Young Entrepreneurs was created under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, and US$100 million was allocated to finance youth projects.
