Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 October 2022, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yousef Saleh Algahrah Al-Otaibi.

During the conversation, the state and prospects for expanding Uzbek-Saudi relations in the trade, economic, investment and humanitarian spheres, as well as issues of cooperation within international organizations were discussed.

The parties discussed the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of the Minister for Hajj and Umrah Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, to Uzbekistan.

They also exchanged views on some regional and international issues.
