Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 June 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia Hendi Assan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, topical issues of multifaceted Uzbek-Malaysian relations were discussed.

The parties reviewed the schedule and agenda of upcoming joint events at various levels. In this context, special attention was paid to the organizational aspects of the participation of the Malaysian side on 15-16 July 2021 in the High-Level International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities” in Tashkent, as well as the Uzbek side in the World Islamic Economic Forum, which will be held online on 15 July.
