Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 20 January 2023, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Acting Head of the Representative Office of the Asian Development Bank in Uzbekistan Enrico Pinali.

ADB is one of the key and strategic partners for Uzbekistan among international financial institutions. In particular, it was noted that over 20 projects for US$2.8 billion are currently being implemented.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ADB on the approval of the new Strategy for Cooperation between ADB and Uzbekistan for 2024-2027 were discussed.

ADB will continue to provide advisory support on structural reforms in line with Uzbekistan's national development strategy.
