Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 May 2022, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held a meeting with Director-General of the Institute for Defense Research and Analysis of India Sujan Chinoy.
Proposals for the development of interaction between the scientific and analytical centers of the two countries were considered.
The meeting also discussed certain issues of regional and international character.
During the meeting, a special presentation was organized for the leadership and experts of the Institute of Defense Studies and Analysis of India on the topic: "30 years of Uzbek-Indian relations: multifaceted cooperation based on a common past and a bright future."
Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov informed the participants of the event about the modern development of our country, the large-scale reforms carried out under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, as well as the current state and prospects for the development of the Uzbek-Indian multifaceted cooperation.
Director-General of the Institute for Defense Research and Analysis of India Sujan Chinoy, as well as leading experts of the center, highly appreciated the initiatives of Uzbekistan to develop mutually beneficial Uzbek-Indian cooperation.
The expert and analytical circles of India highly appreciated the results of the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Cooperation. Challenges and Opportunities”, which took place on 15-16 July 2021 in Tashkent.
