Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fuel tank exploded in Angora district of Surkhandarya region. The incident occurred on 28 August, at about 22:00 in the territory of a warehouse belonging to one of the local enterprises.

Welder tried to solder a 10-ton tank that was filled with diesel fuel. So, violation of safety rules led to a rupture of the container. As a result of the emergency, citizen K.A. died on the spot, and P.K., who was standing next to him, was hospitalized with burns to the regional hospital.

The spreading flames also destroyed an Isuzu truck, which was parked next to the tank. A few minutes later, 2 firefighting and rescue crews of Surkhandarya region emergency department arrived at the scene of the emergency, which promptly extinguished the fire.

So, the cause of the explosion of the tank was a banal violation of safety regulations.
