Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, the Uzbek company Alfa Level and the Omani Al Awkiya Trading signed an agreement on the supply of fresh and dried fruits from Uzbekistan to Oman, the Dunyo reported.
In accordance with the specified bilateral document, the first supply of Uzbek melons was carried out about 20 tonnes. Currently, this product is being successfully sold in specialized outlets of the Omani company Al Awkiya Trading.
At the same time, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Muscat organized a presentation of domestic fruits and vegetables among the diplomatic corps of Arab countries neighboring Oman, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, to further promote Uzbek fruits to the markets of Middle Eastern countries by using the logistics capabilities of the Sultanate of Oman.
