Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Presidential Decree “On additional measures to ensure the transparency of the activities of state bodies and organizations, as well as the effective implementation of public control” was adopted.

The decree approved a list of socially significant information (33 items) to be posted in the public domain by all state bodies and organizations.

According to the Decree, state bodies and organizations annually report on their activities:

- post information on their websites before March 1, announce a public discussion until March 10;

- hold press conferences to discuss the report with the general public before April 1.

From July 1, 2021, information on the following will be posted on the open data portal (Portal) and the websites of state bodies and organizations and will be updated quarterly:

- carried out public procurement;

- expenses of officials for business trips and receiving guests from abroad;

- tax and customs benefits and preferences in accordance with decrees of the President, decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers;

- own annual cost estimate and its implementation.

According to the Decree, a procedure will be introduced to broadcast live on the Internet of the process of conducting the following exams:

- exams for undergraduate and graduate universities;

- examinations related to the translation of studies;

- nostrification tests.

Before the entrance exams for the 2021/2022 academic year, a web platform will be launched and will be open to all users, providing a live webcast of the exams.
