Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– From 1 July 2020, quarantine restrictions will increase in Uzbekistan. The corresponding decision was made by the Special Republican Commission.
According to the decision of the commission, on Saturdays and Sundays, sanitary and disinfection works will be carried out in large clothing markets and shopping complexes in all regions of Uzbekistan. During these works, the facilities will be closed.
Citizens are required to maintain a social distance of 2 meters and wear medical masks and gloves in public places and business facilities.
In accordance with the decision of the commission, citizens will receive free medical masks at the entrances to supermarkets and other large retail facilities.
In territories with “red” and “yellow” quarantine levels, from three to seven people are prohibited from gathering in public places. At the same time, in these areas from 23:00 to 07:00 citizens are prohibited from being on the street and in the courtyards of houses.
However, this ban will not affect those citizens who need to get to medical facilities or go to the pharmacy for medicines.
Over the weekend, the red and yellow zones will reduce public transport. In bus interiors, passengers will be seated in compliance with the social distance.
In the "yellow" zones there is a restriction on the movement of personal vehicles from 06:00 to 22:00, and in the "red" zones - from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.
