French transport minister visits Uzbekistan

Minister of Transport of France Thierry Mariani arrives in Uzbekistan on 17 February 2012 to hold negotiations within the Uzbek-French consultations in Tashkent, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
According to the statistics, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and France grew twice year-on-year to US$354 million in 2011.
France is the eleventh largest trade partner of Uzbekistan in 2011. Its share in foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in 2011 was 1.4%.
