French envoy holds talks with Ombudsperson
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls held a meeting with a new Human Rights Commissionaire (Ombudsperson) of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on 26 May 2015.
According to the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, the sides considered activities of Ombudsperson and situation with human rights in Uzbekistan.
The sides also discussed issues of cooperation of Ombudsperson with various French institutions, including Rights Defender (French Ombudsperson).
