According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Surkhandarya region, on 26 November at 19:00, border service officers, together with operational officers of the military unit of the regional border troops, detained a French citizen T.M.

The man tried to illegally cross the state border by rail in order to go to the territory of Afghanistan. In the Frenchman’s backpack, 26 tablets of the psychotropic drug Topalgic 50 mg tramadol were found.
