French Ambassador holds talks with UWED rector
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls visited University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) and met with new rector Abdumalik Jumanov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in education and teaching French language. In particular, the sides discussed visit of the French expert to UWED on 9-10 April 2015, who will hold lectures for teachers and students of the Uzbek university.
UWED rector said he pays great attention to teaching French language at the university. The sides reached agreement that UWED teachers will be invited to seminars on improving skills of French language, which will be held in Tashkent on 13-20 April. The seminar is organized by the Embassy of France in Tashkent and Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan.
