French Alliance Tashkent starts its work
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heul said that the Alliance was recorded by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and will carry out activities on teaching French language.
He said that the Alliance is planning to open its branches in regions and large cities of Uzbekistan. He said that it is planned to hold an official opening ceremony in Tashkent in September when President of Paris Fund of the French Alliance visits Uzbekistan.
The French Alliance will provide French language trainings to the citizens of Uzbekistan of various age. It will also help Uzbek youth to study in France or French speaking states.
The Alliance started to accept applications for two-month intensive French language courses. The applications will be received from 9 to 20 June. It is also planned to hold three three-month language training within 2015.
The building of the Alliance has all conditions for organization of trainings. The visitors can use media library and library.
French Institute in Tashkent was closed on 30 June 2014. It provided French language courses and organized cultural events, as well as distributed information on educational and stipend programmes, contests and activities of the French institutions.
French Alliance Tashkent is founded in line with the inter-governmental agreement, signed by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of France and Uzbekistan on 7 November 2014.
