Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A shuttle bus has been launched between the terminals of domestic and international airlines of the Tashkent airport. A low-floor bus with a UzPort sticker will run daily from 05.00 to 23.30.
“We received many requests from passengers with a request to somehow connect the terminals with each other. It happens that people make mistakes and come to the wrong terminal. The distance between the terminals in the city is about 4 km. Only taxis run between the terminals and the prices for which are not always acceptable for all categories of citizens. Given this situation, Uzbekistan Airports decided to launch a shuttle bus in test mode,” the press service of the management company explained.
Inter-terminal transport will run according to the schedule every half an hour. In the terminal of international airlines, the bus will drive to the line allocated for buses in the parking lot near the departure hall, in the local one it will drive up to the entrance to the terminal. Shuttle bass services can be used by everyone absolutely free of charge.
