Fraud Suspect Extradited from UAE to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A citizen wanted internationally for fraud has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The arrest was made possible through close cooperation between the Interpol National Central Bureaus of Tashkent and Abu Dhabi.

The individual has now been handed over to the competent authorities and will face trial to be held criminally accountable.

The ministry emphasized that the growing number of fugitives extradited from the UAE and other countries reflects the effectiveness of sustained bilateral cooperation between Interpol National Central Bureaus, built on existing international agreements and strict adherence to legal procedures.
