Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan grows by 0.5% in 1H

Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan grew by 0.5% year-on-year in the first half of 2015 and reached US$12.635 billion.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of exports increased by 7.4% year-on-year in the reporting period to US$6.359 billion.
The imports of Uzbekistan made up US$6.257 billion in January-June 2015, which decreased by 5.7% year-on-year, the committee said.
The foreign trade surplus of Uzbekistan made up US$83.4 million in the first half of 2015.
