Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the official information of the Federal Service of Russia for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, posted on the agency’s website, “while the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection persist, foreign students arriving from which have already resumed flights, are examined for COVID-19 by the PCR method twice - no earlier than three calendar days before arriving in the Russian Federation and within 72 hours after entering the Russian Federation."
As of 16 February 2021, the Russian side has not lifted restrictions on the entry of citizens of Uzbekistan, including those staying in Russia for study, with the exception of certain categories of persons determined by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation from 16 March 2020 No. 635-r (as amended from 02/03/2021)
In this regard, the Embassy once again reminds that citizens of Uzbekistan studying in educational institutions of Russia do not fall under the category of citizens entitled to enter this country due to restrictive measures.
