Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan, Russia hold consultations

Consultations were held within the framework of the Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia for 2016-2017.

During the consultations, the delegations of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation exchanged views on relevant aspects of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s activities in the context of the preparations for the forthcoming meeting of the Council of the Heads of State of the SCO member-states, which will be held in Astana.

Diplomats discussed issues, included in the agenda of the Summit, including accession of India and Pakistan into the SCO as full members.
