Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 August 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

During the meeting, various issues of Uzbek-Turkish cooperation of mutual interest were discussed. An exchange of views took place on certain aspects of regional policy, including the situation in Afghanistan.

Abdulaziz Kamilov expressed condolences to his Turkish colleague in connection with the recent natural disasters in Turkey and numerous human casualties.
