Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 5 January 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan congratulated Bakhtiyor Saidov on his appointment to a high responsible position and wished him success.

The parties expressed mutual readiness to strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership and mobilize the existing potential for the implementation of all agreements reached as a result of high-level visits.

The ministers exchanged views on topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda, and agreed on a schedule of upcoming joint events.
