Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 July 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkevichs in the format of video conference.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres were discussed. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of the parties within the framework of international organizations and in the format "Uzbekistan - Latvia - European Union".

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels, as well as on individual regional issues.
