Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 March 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Nikos Dendias exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Abdulaziz Kamilov’s message noted that the parties have sufficient potential to intensify trade and economic ties, expand cooperation in the fields of culture, education and tourism, and deepen inter-parliamentary dialogue.

Confidence was expressed that the Uzbek-Greek partnership based on mutual trust will be further strengthened in all areas for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

In turn, Nikos Dendias stressed that in recent years bilateral relations have been progressively developing on the basis of the principles of equality and mutual respect.

It is reported that Greece is interested in further strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan within the framework of international structures, as well as through the European Union
