Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with his Georgian counterpart, Maka Bochorishvili.

During the meeting, the sides engaged in a substantive and comprehensive exchange of views on current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and global agendas.

The two ministers outlined specific goals for expanding collaboration in the near future.

They noted the considerable potential for deepening interagency cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Particular attention was given to the intensification of business contacts, the expansion of tourism exchanges, and the strengthening of ties in the humanitarian sphere.

At the conclusion of the talks, a Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Georgia for 2025–2026 was signed, outlining the implementation of joint initiatives and activities across key areas of cooperation.
