Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, foreign companies providing electronic services in Uzbekistan paid 181.3 billion soums in taxes, marking a 50% increase compared to 2024, the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan reported.
Currently, 78 foreign IT companies operate in the country. The top ten contributors by tax payments were: Apple — 49.5 billion soums, Meta — 49 billion soums, Google — 44.4 billion soums, OpenAI — 11.7 billion soums, Booking.com — 4.3 billion soums, TikTok — 3.5 billion soums, Netflix — 1.8 billion soums, Acca — 1.6 billion soums, Xsolla — 1.5 billion soums, and Amazon — 1.4 billion soums.
The total value of electronic services provided by foreign companies in 2025 reached 1,482.3 billion soums, up from 1,003.4 billion soums in 2024, reflecting a 50% growth in tax revenue.
Foreign legal entities offering electronic services are required to submit tax reports and pay taxes by the 20th day of the month following the end of each quarter.
