Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 14 to 23 September 2020, a 16-hour online course on economic analysis of intergovernmental investment agreements was held for employees of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the invitation of a professor from Bournemouth University (UK) and Kozminsky University (Poland) Christopher Hartwell.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conjunction with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Legal Reform Program.
During the course, the participants gained knowledge of the most important investment development tools, including economic models of growth and investment, studied the latest research in investment law, as well as specific examples of foreign emerging markets and the experience of foreign countries in concluding international investment agreements.
