Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2021, the GRP in Surkhandarya region increased by 6.0% and amounted to 13.53 trillion soums.

GRP growth factors were the growth rates in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 4.5% (share in the GRP structure - 47.5%), industry - 5.6% (6.3%), construction - 5.5% (8.6%) and the service sector - 8.0% (37.6%). GRP per capita amounted to 5,02 million soums and increased by 3.9%.
