Fog again restricts the operation of several airports in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Poor visibility due to weather conditions on the morning of 8 December made adjustments to the operation of the airports of Urgench, Nukus and Navoi.

Flight HY051 from Tashkent was supposed to land at Urgench airport at 08:20. However, due to thick fog at the host airport - visibility of 200 meters - was postponed. According to preliminary data, the plane is expected to take off from the capital at 11:00 and arrive in Urgench at 12:10.

Fog caused the delay of flight HY011 on the Tashkent - Nukus route. The plane was supposed to take off from Tashkent at 07:30, but due to unfavorable weather conditions - visibility of 200 meters - the flight, according to preliminary data, was postponed at 10:30.

The Navoi airport was also shrouded in thick fog - visibility 300 - 350 meters. However, in the morning hours, passenger flights were not on the schedule.
