Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-9825, flying from Namangan to Krasnodar, was forced to return due to the closure of airspace over Rostov region of Russia.

The crew of the aircraft with 168 passengers on board decided to land at the nearest airport due to insufficient fuel. The plane landed in Urgench at 09:57 local time. After refueling, the aircraft will fly to Namangan in the near future.

Uzbekistan Airways clarified that passengers of a canceled flight are entitled to a free rebooking of an air ticket or a refund without deduction.
