Five Uzbek Minors Repatriated from Chelyabinsk Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — With the assistance of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg, five minors who had been left without parental care in the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation were returned to their homeland, Dunyo news agency reported.

The children, born in 2008 (A.M.), 2018 (Z.O. and F.O.), 2020 (I.O.), and 2023 (T.S.), were repatriated following negotiations between the Uzbek consulate and the Department of Guardianship and Custody of the Ministry of Social Relations of Chelyabinsk region.

All necessary documentation was reviewed and formalities completed in the presence of a consulate officer. The children were safely transported to Uzbekistan on a regular Yekaterinburg–Tashkent flight.
