First ladies of Uzbekistan and South Korea visited the inclusive preschool institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit, the first ladies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea visited Yakkasaray district with a sightseeing tour to kindergarten No. 369 and appreciated a new form of cooperation for Uzbekistan – public-private partnership in the form of philanthropic activity.

The participants of the visit highly appreciated the principle of inclusion implemented in pre-school, in which healthy children and children with special needs get equal access to high-quality pre-school education and share a single space, from early childhood acquiring communication and interaction skills.

The advanced experience of the Republic of Korea introduced in Uzbekistan was fully embodied in the organization of pre-school educational institutions No. 369. There are all conditions for the full development of the child and the implementation of the principle of inclusion. Many elements of the educational process and the object-developing environment are based on the Korean model.

According to Eastern tradition, guests were greeted with Uzbek flatbreads, which the children and cooks baked during a cooking class. Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Kim Jong-suk attended training and developmental classes in groups and in the music hall.

The first ladies, together with the pupils of the kindergarten, took part in the Korean national game “throwing arrows into a bucket” and painting papier-mâché plates. The plates created by the guests became a memorable gift to a preschool educational institution.
