First groups of Uzbek pilgrims fly to Saudi Arabia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
First group of pilgrims from Uzbekistan flied to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj pilgrimage on 24 August 2016, the Committee on Religious affairs under the Cabinet of Uzbekistan said.
According to the committee, 5,200 Uzbek citizens will fly to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj pilgrimage from 24 August to 4 September 2016.
On Wednesday, 470 pilgrims from Uzbekistan headed to Saudi Arabia on two flights of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.
In order to create comfortable conditions for pilgrims, flights to Saudi Arabia will be organized from Bukhara, Samarkand, Qarshi, Namangan and Urgench.
